Shuttle Service
If you want to bring your own canoe or kayak, we can assist you with your transportation needs on Terrapin Creek for a reasonable fee. There is a limited # of shuttle spaces available each day. Prepaid advance shuttle reservations are required by phone (256) 447-8383. Please have your VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express credit or debit card handy when calling. Reservations are required even if you have your own boat. No pets. All shuttles & services offered by Terrapin Outdoor Center are provided at the sole discretion of Terrapin Outdoor Center and its representatives. Our usual projected shuttle season is May through the Sunday before Labor Day but the season length may vary according to water or weather conditions. Questions? Call (256) 447-8383. Thank you!
Shuttle Fee
$15 for (1) boat with (1) person. Add $5 for each additional person in the same boat.
Includes:
- Transportion for you, your boat, and gear to the put-in or from the takeout (whichever trip we are running at the time)
- Professional, courteous, and friendly customer service
- Private put-ins and takeouts exclusively for TOC customers
- Safe & FREE parking for your vehicle(s) here at TOC
- Clean restrooms & changing rooms here at TOC
- Family-friendly atmosphere
Other Benefits:
- You don’t have to bring more than (1) vehicle when coming to TOC
- We transport you and your boat(s) always
- Eliminates the hassle of vehicle swapping, parking problems, etc.
Please … Make sure that you are physically fit enough to handle the demands of a canoe/kayak trip. Always wear your life jacket! Be responsible and respectful of others when floating the creek. Respect private property along the creek. Use common sense and obey the law. No pets, littering, alcohol, illegal drugs, glass containers, foul language, etc. All rental boats must be out of the water by 5pm. All vehicles need to be off property by 5pm. Store closes and gates lock at 5pm. We’re a family run business and strive to provide a family-friendly atmosphere for everyone. Thank you!
